How to become a sponsor
Downtown Jersey City’s Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) is proud to announce the return of our Wednesday night summer concert series Groove on Grove, beginning May 6th. We will feature local artists playing Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and Salsa every Wednesday night from 6 PM to 8PM, May 6th to September 30th at the Grove Path Plaza (Newark and Columbus Boulevard). The series will also be partnering with JC Fridays on June 5th and September 11th to complement and cross promote with these exciting quarterly events (www.jcfridays.com). This event will be free to the public.
The Grove Street Path Plaza accommodates 12,900 commuters during this time period. It is our intentions to capture the attention of these riders and local Jersey City residents while also heavily promoting the events to the surrounding areas and beyond. Bringing people to our area to shop, dine, visit and invest. Join us to share our Historic Downtown Jersey City message:
The HDSID is a 501(c)6 not for profit organization responsible for the revitalization of Downtown Jersey City. We are looking for sponsors to help fund this program. These shows will not only capture the attention of the Path Commuter, this exposure will also allow you the opportunity to introduce your business to the residents and visitors. Jersey City has the greatest number of residents per square foot in the state of New Jersey. Live music is a great experience, most will come to see. We are offering a number of packages and ideas.
Our marketing program includes planning events designed not only to promote greater patronage to the Downtown’s restaurants, parks, retail stores, cultural institutions and other amenities but to help unite our community.
We are committed to revitalizing the Downtown through a comprehensive set of initiatives. Complementing our cleaning, security, façade improvement and capital improvement programs, we are marketing initiatives to promote our business attractions and activities as well as our community.

$7,500 or >–Diamond Sponsors: This is a series sponsorship package which includes logo, listing and mention in all materials for entire series including two Newark Avenue banners (5’ x 30’), press releases, advertisements, posters, postcards, promotional CDs and t-shirts that will be given out at all of the events, a listing on our website homepage for one year and an option to have a 10x10 space to market product weekly. This also includes a listing on HDSID District maps which are distributed and reprinted throughout the year and an ad on our website as a featured sponsor for the entire year.
$3,000 – Gold Sponsors: This is a series sponsorship package which includes logo, listing and mention in all materials for entire series including two Newark Avenue banners (5’ x 30’), press releases, advertisements, posters, postcards, a listing on our website homepage for one year and an option to have a 10x10 space to market product weekly.

$500 – Bronze Sponsors: This is a sponsorship package of one event evening which includeslisting on Monthly postcard and poster, mention that evening, monthly press release, and space to feature business at the event for the night
$250 – Friend Sponsors: This is a co-sponsorship of one event evening which includeslisting on Monthly postcard and poster, mention that evening, monthly press release, space to feature business at the event to be shared with co-sponsor for the night.
